Rich Andrusiak is a professor of mathematics at River Valley Community College in Claremont, NH. He is a former State Supervisor of Mathematics for the New Hampshire Department of Education. Rich is also a former board member of the New Hampshire Teachers of Mathematics and is dedicated to improving mathematics education. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Michigan State University, a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Colorado, a Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary Mathematics from the Colorado College, and a Doctorate of Education with a focus on mathematics education from New England College.

Rich has received multiple teaching and service excellence awards at River Valley Community College. He is an avid outdoors enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his wife and pets.


Paul Frisoli is a writer and editor of various mathematical programs and projects. He has held senior positions at several major educational publishers, including Pearson Education and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Paul has a Master of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he also taught various undergraduate courses and contributed to the NEPTA (peer tutoring) program.

He is currently a faculty member of the mathematics department at Middlesex Community College in Bedford, MA. When not hiking with Rich, Paul can often be found working on his forehand loop at Boston Table Tennis Academy, where he serves (no pun intended) as the club’s tournament coordinator.
